Why Enter?
The Ontario cider competitions are more than just a medal – it’s an opportunity to raise your business profile, gain industry recognition, and receive meaningful feedback on your product.
1. Industry Recognition & Medals
Winning entries (gold, silver, bronze) receive Ontario Cider Competition medals, which can be proudly displayed in retail spaces, tasting rooms, and promotional materials – a clear signal of quality to customers and visitors.
2. Amplified Promotion & Visibility
Winners are promoted through established industry channels including ONcore, Ontario Apple Growers, and the Ontario Craft Cider Association. These announcements will be shared within the broader industry network, extending your reach well beyond the competition itself and providing content you can re-share with your own audience.
3. Exposure Through Industry Leaders
Entries are evaluated by respected judges with experience in cider, apple and beverage production. These individuals play influential roles within the industry and help elevate standout products through professional networks and word-of-mouth recognition.
4. Constructive Feedback
Entrants receive judge feedback, providing valuable insight into strengths, opportunities, and how your cider is perceived by experienced professionals. This feedback can support product refinement, future innovation, and marketing decisions.
