Spotted Wing Drosophila 2017

This year we are doing a very small scale regional monitoring program. Use these results in addition to your own monitoring program to determine when SWD is present. Conduct a salt water test or a plastic baggie test to confirm presence. The monitoring program is coordinated by the OBGA.

Michigan and New York are catching SWD.  SWD has been caught earlier in Southwest Michigan than in previous years. Every year is different so check your fruit regularly to find the first SWD.

Can you advise us which of these products are certified organic?

    • Erica Pate

      Hi Phil,

Entrust is most likely available as an organic option but you will have to contact your certifying body to confirm.
