Discussion about dealing with reduced labour in Tender Fruit Orchards

The 2020 growing season is just starting, and growers have already faced a considerable amount of challenges. Tender fruit production is highly labour intensive and delays/reduced availability of temporary foreign workers and quarantine requirements have impacted tender fruit growers.

OMAFRA is hosting a zoom video conference meeting to discuss options for Tender fruit growers that are struggling with reduced labour. The meeting will focus on strategies to optimize pruning, and mechanical/chemical thinning options for growers.

When: May 6, 2020 10:00 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
