Date: Friday May 21, 2021 11:30 AM-1:30 pm

Cover crops play an important role in vineyards by reducing erosion, add nitrogen, and improving soil health, soil tilth and water penetration. Choosing the best cover crop for your vineyard will depend on your goal (i.e. managing vigour, improving soil structure, weed control etc.), environmental conditions (i.e. duration of growing season), production practices (burying vines), and economics (cost of seed and maintenance).
This webinar will present information on recent research on the use of cover crops in vineyards (between rows and underneath vines), and will provide growers with the opportunity to learn more about options for cover crop use in vineyards.
