The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness – Agriculture Development Branch in Vineland Station, Niagara, Ontario is seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic and energetic team players. These positions will provide an excellent opportunity for those interested in a career in horticulture production, pest management, plant pathology, entomology, soil, research or the agricultural service sector.
The successful candidates will be responsible for both field and office work. Field and greenhouse work may include setting up research plots, assessing pest populations, scouting for pest issues, conducting pest surveys, assisting in data collection, and plot maintenance in specialty and fruit crops. Indoor work may include data entry, improving online resources, microscope work and literature reviews.
