Recognizing growers who test, shape, and adopt the future of farming
The FIRA USA Grower-Led Innovation of the year award recognizes a grower or farming operation that has demonstrated outstanding engagement in agricultural innovation.
The award celebrates growers who identify real-world farming challenges and take meaningful action to address them, whether by testing an emerging technology, contributing to its development, collaborating with research institutions or technology providers, or investing in and successfully adopting a solution on their farm.
Applicants may be recognized for their role as innovation pioneers, development partners, or early adopters. The technology does not need to be fully commercialized or already purchased, provided that the grower has made a significant contribution to its evaluation or advancement.
The award highlights the essential role of growers in shaping practical, relevant, and impactful technologies for the future of agriculture.
The award is open to growers and farming operations that have tested, evaluated, helped develop, purchased, or adopted an innovative agricultural technology.
Eligible technologies may include robotics, artificial intelligence, sensing, autonomous equipment, farm management software, or other agrobotics and agTech solutions addressing a clearly identified agricultural challenge.
The technology does not need to have been purchased or fully deployed. Applicants will be evaluated based on their level of engagement, contribution, implementation, and impact relative to the maturity of their project.
